Position Summary
Maintains accurate, compliant financial records for the showroom, covering invoices, booking money, cash and bank, reconciliation, VAT and tax documents, and commissions. Prepares monthly accounts reports and supports audits.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare invoices and money receipts for vehicles, service, parts, and accessories.
- Receive and record booking money; manage daily cash and ensure timely bank deposits.
- Prepare daily cash and bank reports and perform regular reconciliation.
- Prepare VAT, tax, and registration-related documents and maintain statutory records.
- Calculate and record sales commissions and incentives for approval.
- Process vendor bills and petty cash with proper approvals.
- Prepare monthly accounts reports and support audits.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field (B.Com or BBA; CA inter or CMA progress is a plus)
Additional Qualifications
- 2+ years in accounting
- preferably in trading or automobiles.
- Bookkeeping and bank reconciliation
- VAT, TDS and tax documentation
- Tally or similar accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Integrity and confidentiality
- Deadline management.
