As a student of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, I would like to apply my experience to develop new strategies for mitigating the impact of climate change, to protect and preserve ecosystems, endangered species, and biodiversity, to engage in environmental education and advocacy, to raise awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices working with government or non-governmental organizations to shape environmental policies and regulations that promote sustainability and disaster risk reduction. During my university life I have attended several national and international webinars and workshops arranged by ESDO, USAID and so on. Therefore, I would love to work for national and international organizations like the ESDO, USAID, UN or NGOs to address global environmental and disaster-related issues.

I was looking for a course that could help me understand how scientists think about ecological problems, and I had not expected such a wonderful expose of how younger ambitious scientists physically and mathematically test their hypotheses about what is going on in the field in order to answer their own questions about any given aspect of environment and its ecological puzzles. I was particularly blown away by the work transitioning field data and a few basic assumptions into algebraic expressions, extraordinarily impressive.
