Position Summary
The Sr. Executive – Sales will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company's solar energy solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving business targets. This role requires strong sales acumen, market knowledge, and the ability to engage with corporate, commercial, and residential clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, field visits, and other sales activities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solar energy solutions.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, negotiation, contract finalization, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term business partnerships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities through CRM or reporting systems.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and business networking activities to promote the company's services and solutions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA)
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Prior experience in the solar energy, renewable energy, electrical, engineering, construction, or related industry will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and influence decision-makers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities.
