Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional who can combine solar design expertise with strong business development capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in both technical project design and driving new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities:
- Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems
- Prepare layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), BOQs, and technical proposals
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments
- Perform energy yield and shading analysis
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and consultations
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and participate in negotiations
- Manage tender analysis, costing, and pricing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Convert leads into successful project acquisitions
Coordination:
- Work closely with project, procurement, and execution teams
- Support project implementation from design to execution
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
Additional Qualifications
Additional Requirements:
- Age between 25 to 35 years
- Strong expertise in solar PV system design (rooftop & ground-mounted)
- Proficiency in PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD or similar tools
- Ability to prepare layouts, SLDs, BOQs, and techno-commercial proposals
- Knowledge of solar components (inverters, modules, mounting structures, protection systems)
- Understanding of grid connectivity, net metering, and Bangladesh regulations
- Experience in lead generation and converting opportunities into projects
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with EPC project lifecycle
- Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and safety compliance
- Ability to integrate technical solutions with business needs
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Solar Energy
- Engineering Firms
- Battery / Storage Cell / Dry Cell (Battery) industries
