Position Summary

Daffodil International School (English Medium) is seeking a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious Science Lab Attendant to support the effective operation of the school's science laboratories. The selected candidate will assist teachers in preparing laboratory sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and well-organized laboratory environment.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials before practical classes.
Assist science teachers during laboratory activities and practical examinations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the science laboratories.
Properly store chemicals, apparatus, specimens, and laboratory equipment.
Keep an updated inventory of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and consumables.
Report damaged or missing equipment and assist in procurement requirements.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and school policies.
Dispose of laboratory waste safely and responsibly.
Support the setup and dismantling of laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the School Management.

Required Educational Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science

Additional Qualifications

Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) required
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a school, college, university, or laboratory environment.
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
Ability to maintain laboratory records and inventory.
Basic computer proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
