Position Summary
As a Software Engineer specializing in Node.js at LYXA, you will
play a pivotal role in the development of web applications. Your responsibilities will
include working with Node.js, SQL/NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB), and
adhering to business requirements and architectural guidelines. As a team player,
you will engage with stakeholders, meet strict delivery schedules, and uphold high
coding standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using Node.js (Express.js and Nest.js) and databases such as MongoDB.
- Follow business documents and architectural guidelines to deliver scalable solutions.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, ensuring clear communication (English) with all related stakeholders.
- Maintain coding standards and organizational guidelines for consistency and quality.
- Respond promptly and professionally to testing and bug-fixing requirements.
- Work with API endpoints using interactive API interfaces like Swagger,Postman.
- Leverage Node.js-based ORM technologies, such as the Sequelize framework, for efficient database interaction.
- Utilize version control systems, particularly Git.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2/5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on Node.js, Nest.js and Express.js (Typescript and Javascript) development.
- Contribute to software architecture design and experience working with databases like NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL.
- Knowledge of Message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and Redis.
- Capability to work as a team player, with effective communication skills (English).
- Commitment to maintaining coding standards (organizational guidelines) and professionally to testing and bug-fixing requirements.
- Familiarity with API endpoints and interactive tools like Postman.
- Strong experience with microservice architecture and related technologies.
- Deep knowledge of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
