We are seeking an experienced Manager - Trade Finance & Fundraising to lead the company’s working capital, trade finance, fundraising, and strategic financing initiatives. The primary purpose of this role is to secure and structure the working capital and long-term funding required to support rapid import and sales growth, ensuring that container cycles and business expansion are not constrained by retained profit or internal cash flow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in closing bank facilities, structuring trade finance arrangements, managing lender relationships, and developing financing solutions for import-driven or industrial businesses.

• Structure, negotiate, and manage working capital, import finance, and trade finance facilities with commercial banks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IDCOL, IFC, commercial banks, and Bangladesh Bank green refinance / renewable energy financing windows.
• Prepare comprehensive and bankable financial documentation, including:

1. Financial projections
2. Cash flow models
3. Financing proposals
4. Facility applications
5. Loan applications

• Design and negotiate supplier credit, deferred payment arrangements, and other financing terms with overseas principals and suppliers.
• Develop customer advance payment and dealer prepayment structures to reduce the company’s working capital cycle.
• Map, structure, and manage collateral, securities, guarantees, and related financing arrangements across group entities.
• Monitor and improve the company’s cash conversion cycle, container-to-cash timeline, liquidity position, and financing facility utilisation.
• Support equity fundraising and strategic partner capital raising for the manufacturing entity.
• Maintain professional communication and reporting with banks, development finance institutions, lenders, investors, and other financing partners.
• Ensure timely lender and investor reporting, documentation, covenant compliance, and financing-related regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with management to align financing strategies with import volumes, sales growth, manufacturing expansion, and long-term business objectives.

• Proven hands-on experience in corporate finance, trade finance, fundraising, banking, or structured financing.
• Demonstrated experience in personally closing bank facilities, credit lines, trade finance arrangements, or development finance transactions.
• A strong commercial financing background rather than experience limited primarily to accounting, audit, or financial reporting.
• Existing professional relationships with corporate banking and trade finance teams within Bangladeshi commercial banks.
• Strong practical understanding of:

1. Letters of Credit (LC)
2. Import financing
3. Trade documentation
4. Cross-border payment structures
5. Working capital facilities
6. Bank guarantees and securities

• Strong financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, proposal preparation, and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to communicate confidently with senior bankers, lenders, investors, overseas suppliers, and strategic partners.
