Position Summary
We are looking for the position of Manager - Merchandising (Fashion Retail - Sailor)
Job Responsibilities
T&A and Pre Production Planning:
- Make T&A plan from Tech Pack receiving till Handover with individual Merchandiser.
- Prepare PP meeting Schedule with individual Merchandiser based on T&A plan.
- Follow up PP progress status with the merchandiser's regular basis to keep the plan steady.
- Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly circulate PP meeting schedule. Thus PP progress with Balance report & present its status with the supervisor as per T&A.
Coordination between Production, Planning & Quality
- Bridging between the Operation and Merchandising team through constant technical feedback and related troubleshooting effectively to achieve the T&A.
- Follow-up production status on a regular basis and work to ensure on-time delivery in full quantity.
- Work closely with QC dept. to ensure best final product. Also need to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of production.
- Keep close contact with MCD & Quality team to know the availability of the materials, sample, quality reports well ahead of production start.
Value Addition/ Capacity Coordination
- Sourcing to enhance Value Addition Capacity such as Handwork, Karchupi, Embroidery, Print, Wash etc.
- Capacity plan and workload balance of Value Addition goods.
Dynamic Reporting proactively
- Practice continuous and effective update reporting system.
Sourcing, Negotiation & Supplier Bill payment
- Source & analyze right fabric and trims quality and negotiate the price.
- Support to increase the number of OPAC suppliers and follow-up for quality production.
- Guide the supplier for proper documentation and ensure their payment on time.
Coordination with Design & Development Team
- Coordinate between the designers and merchandisers to foresee the issues proactively and give solutions before happening.
- Analyze the Tech Packs, Sample & Costing after receiving them from the designers and find out the technical issues being first person.
Coordination with cross-functional teams
- Ensure smooth communication with all internal & external stakeholders.
- Ensures effective team work to enhance individual ability and overall team dynamics to deliver organizational objectives.
- Existing stock availability analysis with design & MCD team and help execute the utilization plan.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology (BSTT)
Additional Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Experience
- At least 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail Store
