Position Summary

Akij Textile Mills Ltd. is a sister concern of Akij INSAF one of the largest conglomerate in Bangladesh, founded in 1998 by Sk. Akij Uddin. The industry is fully export oriented and known for its various units, Spinning, Yarn Dying, Weaving & Fabric Dyeing and Finishing, more than 5,000 employees. Spinning unit consists of reputed brands of machineries like Reiter, Zinser, Schlaforst-Autocone, Autocore, Uster-Lab. Weaving unit is fully automated with state of the art machineries, like Picanol- Omni Plus 800, Airjet Looms with quick style change, Karl Mayer- High Performance Sizing and Sectional Warpers, Stauble Automatic Drawing- in System, CCI-Automatic Sampling Loom & Yarn Dying unit consists of high class machineries like SSM (Swiss) Soft Winding and Re-Winding machines, Gofront Stalem and Galvanim.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Manager-Buyer Coordination”. The person will act as the primary liaison between factory operations and visiting buyers. The objective of this role is to streamline buyer visit management.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for all buyer visits to the factory
Plan, organize, and execute buyer visit schedules across all relevant units
Conduct factory presentations and explain processes to buyers professionally
Coordinate with unit heads and department heads for critical discussions only
Ensure buyers receive accurate, timely, and well-presented information
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment during buyer visits
Follow up on buyer feedback and communicate internally for improvements
Support management in enhancing buyer satisfaction and factory image

Required Educational Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Additional Qualifications

10-12 years experience in Textile industry
Prior experience in buyer handling, or coordination roles will get high preference
Strong command in English (spoken and written)
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Good knowledge on Textile manufacturing processes
Smart, confident, and professional appearance
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
BSc in Textile Engineering from a reputed university will get preference

Experience

10 to 12 years
