Position Summary

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy, leading high-performing sales teams, expanding market share, and achieving revenue targets across all business segments. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, deep commercial acumen, and the ability to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, government agencies, developers, financial institutions, and industry partners.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging customer segments within the Solar and EV sectors.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and ensure achievement across all business units.
  • Contribute to the company's long-term business planning and expansion initiatives.
Sales Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
  • Design and implement effective sales processes, policies, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and conversion rates to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews and performance evaluations.
Business Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with key corporate, industrial, institutional, and government clients.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and channel networks to increase market penetration.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts and projects.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Market Expansion
  • Identify opportunities for geographical and sectoral expansion.
  • Analyze competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and customer needs.
  • Recommend new products, services, and market approaches to maintain competitive advantage.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop long-term client engagement and retention strategies.
  • Address major customer concerns and resolve escalated issues effectively.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to drive decision-making and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Required Educational Qualifications
  • BBA/MBA/ Master’s in Business, Marketing, IT, or relevant field
Additional Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in Solar Energy, Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles, Electrical Equipment, Power Solutions, Industrial Products, or related sectors will be highly preferred.
