Position Summary
Akij Bicycle & Engineering Ltd. is looking for smart, detail-oriented, and proactive professionals for the position of Executive / Sr. Executive – Supply Chain Management (SCM). The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth procurement, inventory control, and coordination across the supply chain functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage procurement process including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order execution
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and spare parts
- Coordinate with suppliers, production, and warehouse teams
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock management
- Follow up on import/export (LC, shipping, documentation) when required
- Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies
- Prepare reports on procurement, inventory, and supply chain activities
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supply chain efficiency
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA)
Additional Qualifications
- Age At least 26 years
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of ERP systems will be preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Engineering background will be considered an added advantage
Experience
- 2 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Bicycle, Manufacturing (FMCG)
