Job Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cutting production plans according to priority and production targets.
• Ensure maximum in-house cutting quantity against order quantity while controlling excess cutting.
• Balance manpower effectively to reduce NPT (Non-Productive Time) and improve productivity.
• Ensure proper utilization of fabric, remnants and cutting consumables to reduce wastage.
• Ensure proper bundle numbering, panel segregation and identification to avoid mixing issues.
• Attend PP meetings and identify production risks before bulk execution.
• Ensure timely sending of embroidery, print, karchupi.
• Follow up value addition closing and input closing according to production targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality, quantity and delivery-related issues.
• Ensure cutting order closing within targeted lead time after production input.
• Coordinate with value addition suppliers regarding rework quantity and placement corrections.
• Verify all technical comments, tack pack details and placement instructions before recut execution.
• Ensure proper recut panel segregation and identification to avoid mismatch problems.
• Maintain cutting rejection percentage below targeted level.
• Ensure proper spreading standards including lay height, lay length and fabric alignment.
• Verify marker accuracy before bulk cutting to reduce wastage and quality issues.
• Ensure embroidery and karchupi recut parts are properly checked before production.
• Track production efficiency, rejection percentage and wastage trends.

Required Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology (BSTT)

Additional Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Apparel Manufacturing

Experience

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail Store

Additional Requirements

• Age At least 26 years
• Prior experience in cutting is preferable.
• Excellent communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
• Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
• Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
• Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
• Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
