Position Summary

Akij Textile Mills Ltd. is a sister concern of Akij INSAF one of the largest conglomerate in Bangladesh, founded in 1998 by Sk. Akij Uddin. The industry is fully export oriented and known for its various units, Spinning, Yarn Dying, Weaving & Fabric Dyeing and Finishing, more than 5,000 employees. Spinning unit consists of reputed brands of machineries like Reiter, Zinser, Schlaforst-Autocone, Autocore, Uster-Lab. Weaving unit is fully automated with state of the art machineries, like Picanol- Omni Plus 800, Airjet Looms with quick style change, Karl Mayer- High Performance Sizing and Sectional Warpers, Stauble Automatic Drawing- in System, CCI-Automatic Sampling Loom & Yarn Dying unit consists of high class machineries like SSM (Swiss) Soft Winding and Re-Winding machines, Gofront Stalem and Galvanim.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Deputy Manager (Fabric Sales & Marketing)”.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase fabric sales volume and revenue.
Generate new business opportunities through direct marketing, networking, trade fairs, online platforms, and international communication
Understand buyer requirements and coordinate with production and merchandising teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure timely response to buyer inquiries and sample requests
Recommend new fabric developments based on market demand and fashion trends.
Coordinate with production, planning, quality assurance, and commercial departments for smooth order execution
Prepare sales reports, buyer communication records, quotations, and business development reports.

Required Educational Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Additional Qualifications

Strong knowledge of textile fabrics, dyeing, finishing, and fabric development
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets
Good presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel locally and internationally when required

Education

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering

Experience

At least 8 years
