Position Summary
Daffodil Response Center (DRC) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Intern (Networking) to maintain and support our operational network infrastructure. This position offers intensive, hands-on experience in enterprise networking with a direct pathway to permanent employment.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor network availability, latency, and bandwidth utilization across response center operations.
- Assist in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting routers, managed switches, and wireless access points.
- Provide Tier-1 technical support for LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN connections, and desktop hardware.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on network equipment, server racks, and structured cabling.
- Maintain clear logs of network incidents, hardware allocations, and IP schema documentation.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology, or a related discipline
Additional Qualifications
- Solid understanding of core networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
- Basic familiarity with MikroTik or Cisco devices, patch cabling, and system diagnostics is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to maintain composure in an operational response environment.
