Position Summary
An AutoCAD Engineer specializes in creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design software to guide manufacturing or construction projects. They translate conceptual designs into precise digital models, ensuring all schematics meet specific engineering standards and functional requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Drafting of Drawing: Prepare detailed architectural, structural and utility drawings (Electrical/Plumbing) using AutoCAD 2D & 3D based on project requirements.
- Plan Modification: Revise and modify existing drawings according to the instructions of Senior Architects or Project Engineers.
- Site Coordination: Visit project sites to take accurate measurements and ensure that the "As-Built" drawings reflect the actual construction on-site.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all drawings and layouts comply with RAJUK/CDA/ Local Authority guidelines and BNBC standards.
- Documentation: Maintain a systematic digital and physical filing system for all project drawings, revisions and blueprints.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the civil engineering and marketing teams to provide floor plans and 3D visualizations for client presentations.
- Quantity Estimation: Assist the estimation team by providing accurate measurements from drawings for BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation.
- Delivery of Drawing: Print and supply of drawing for site as and when required.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Graduation Equivalent in Any discipline
Additional Qualifications
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Only Male
- 5 to 7 year(s) of experience in the Real Estate or Construction sector.
- Experience working with reputed real estate or developer companies will be preferred.
- Expertise in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Proficiency in SketchUp, 3ds Max or Revit will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of structural details and architectural symbols.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bengali.
Education
- Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture or related field from reputed university.
- Professional certification in AutoCAD (2D/3D) is highly preferred.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years
