Position Summary

In its quest for excellence in business education and greater societal impacts, BRAC Business School (BBS) of BRAC University (BRACU) invites applications for full-time (permanent or on a contractual basis for 1-3 years) faculty positions in selected disciplines of Business Administration. at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate is required to have a terminal (doctoral) degree from a highly reputed university in a field related to the discipline/area of teaching and evidence of potential/actual (commensurate with the rank) research/professional engagement related to that area. In addition, those with a master`s degree related to the field of teaching (1) and with substantial industry experience in duration (minimum 5 years full-time equivalent) and responsibility and preferably with professional certification and/or evidence of potential/actual (commensurate with the rank) research or (2) at an advance stage of PhD degree will be considered at an appropriate rank.

BBS seeks applicants having one of the following specializations at the highest degree level:

Management Information Systems
Business/Data Analytics
Entrepreneurship
International Business
Marketing
Finance
Accounting
Management: with focus in HRM, Strategy, and Sustainability
Business Law and Corporate Governance

Required Educational Qualifications

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Any

Additional Qualifications

Portfolio of high-quality and impactful scholarly work
Relevant and significant industry experience in leading local/foreign organizations
Excellent presentation, and verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills and professionalism
Impeccable ethical standards

Candidates with experience in accreditation (AACSB / EFMD / AMBA) will be given special consideration. Specific rank will be assigned based on qualifications and experience.

Education

PhD
Excellent academic credentials: PhD from a highly reputed/accredited foreign university with outstanding performance (for other degrees too) and international academic experience
