Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, driving business growth, and expanding the company's market presence in the solar energy sector. The incumbent will oversee sales activities, develop strategic client relationships, and support the achievement of organizational revenue targets. This role requires a proactive leader with strong business development capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales management

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.

• Lead and support the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, client acquisition, and deal closure.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, consultants, and stakeholders.

• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solar energy solutions.

• Prepare and review proposals, quotations, contracts, and commercial agreements.

• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activities, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

• Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts while maintaining profitability objectives.

• Prepare periodic sales forecasts, business reports, and performance analyses for management review.

• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking programs, and business forums.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and after-sales support.


Required Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Marketing
Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• experience in sales, business development, or account management.

• Prior experience in the solar energy, renewable energy, electrical, engineering, construction, or related industry is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in managing client relationships and achieving sales targets.

• Strong understanding of B2B sales, project-based sales, and solution selling.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.

• Ability to analyze market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

• Willingness to travel as required for business development and client engagement.
