Position Summary
Responsible for managing HR and administrative operations, supporting employee management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead seasonal workforce planning aligned with paddy procurement and milling cycles.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Bangladesh Labor Act, factory rules, and food safety standards.
- Drive recruitment of mill operators, husk handlers, packers, and logistics staff within 48 hours.
- Enforce site safety protocols for milling floors, godowns, and boiler operations.
- Optimize shift rostering to maximize milling uptime during peak season.
- Manage contractor labor compliance including wage sheets, attendance, and PPE.
- Reduce absenteeism through biometric attendance and real-time alerts.
- Lead factory-level grievance resolution to prevent work stoppages.
- Own mill administration including security, canteen, worker dormitory, and transport.
- Drive digital HR adoption for payroll, leave, and contractor billing.
- Conduct weekly compliance audits on labor registers, overtime records, and safety gear.
- Build talent pipeline for critical roles: boiler operators, auto-rickshaw drivers, quality graders.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management (HRM)
Additional Qualifications
- Years of experience: 4–8 years (minimum 2 years in agro-processing or heavy industry).
- Industry experience: Rice mill, food processing, or grain storage operations strongly preferred.
- Professional certifications: PGD in HRM or Bangladesh Labor Law certification.
- Bangladesh Labor Law & DIFE compliance – factory registers, overtime, annual leave, Form XII.
- Seasonal & casual workforce management – paddy season surge, daily wage handling.
- Factory safety & boiler operation compliance – license renewal, accident reporting.
- Digital HR & biometric systems – real-time attendance for daily workers.
- Contractor & aratdar labor management – wage verification, worker list reconciliation.
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Management
- Bachelor of Law (LLB)
Experience
- 4 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Auto Rice Mill
