Position Summary
Akij Venture Group, one of the leading and reputed business conglomerates in Bangladesh, is looking for a creative, dynamic, and fashion-conscious professional for its concern Akij-Monowara Creation.
Job Responsibilities
- Research and analyze local and global fashion trends
- Design and develop seasonal and festive collections
- Prepare sketches, tech packs, and design specifications
- Select fabrics, trims, and accessories
- Coordinate with production, sample, and pattern teams
- Ensure quality standards and timely sample development
- Maintain design documentation and records
- Participate in fashion campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities
- Develop special collections for events or seasonal demand
- Conduct market visits and competitor analysis
- Support branding and marketing initiatives
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Honors (4 Years) in Fashion Design and Technology
Additional Qualifications
- Age At least 28 years
- Experience in E-commerce, Garments, Textile, Boutique, or Fashion sector will be preferred
- Practical experience in design development, sample coordination, and production follow-up is required
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and CLO3D
- Strong creative thinking and trend analysis skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong design presentation skills
Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Fashion Designing or relevant field
- Candidates from reputed institutions such as Shanto-Mariam University and BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) will get preference
Experience
- 3 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Boutique/ Fashion, Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
