Job Responsibilities
- Oversee hall admission and seat allocation processes fairly and transparently. Identify and allocate vacant rooms, ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of student residency, attendance, and hall activities. Ensure proper use of the Hall Management Portal for all hall operations.
- Ensure timely collection of hall dues, maintain updated payment records.
- Support cost control by monitoring utility consumption, overseeing facility management, minimizing unnecessary expenses, and reducing wastage.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of rooms, corridors, washrooms, stairways, and common spaces.
- Ensure hygienic food, safe dining practices, and overall healthy living conditions.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of hall assets and resources. Report and track repair and replacement needs promptly.
- Serve as the first point of contact for hall student queries and grievances, ensure timely resolution, and organize monthly meetings with students to address issues and gather feedback.
- Enforce hall rules to maintain a ragging-free, drug-free, and disciplined environment. Prevent unauthorized entry and residents through regular checks.
- Maintain effective liaison with the Admission Section, dining vendors, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor hall-related social media and feedback channels to understand student concerns and take corrective actions.
- Keep the hall website updated with relevant information and announcements.
- Assist in planning and executing hall events, workshops, and social activities. Encourage hall student participation in extracurricular and community-building initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with hall safety and security protocols. Respond quickly to emergencies, including health crises, student unrest, or accidents.
- Submit timely reports on hall dues, student concerns, service quality, and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure proper record keeping of hall operations, correspondence, and documents for future reference.
Additional Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative, student service, or customer service roles is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills & Requirements :
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Good command of MS Office is essential.
- Standard typing skills in both Bangla & English are required.
- Must be willing to reside at the hall during the night.
