Position Summary

Meghna PVC Ltd. (MPVCL) and Tasnim Chemical Complex Ltd. (TCCL) are sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI). These chemical units are engaged in the production of PVC/PET Resin, Caustic Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrochloric Acid, and Liquid Chlorine. We are currently looking for highly motivated, honest, proactive and energetic individual for the position of Assistant Engineer, Process in our Chemical Plant. The position will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations and will report to the Plant Head.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage chemical processes using DCS to ensure smooth start-up and shutdown, minimizing disruptions.
  • Operate, control, and maintain production activities to ensure quality output while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve plant abnormalities to ensure continuous operations.
  • Optimize processes in assigned areas to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor operational parameters to detect issues early and apply appropriate troubleshooting measures.
  • Support problem-solving efforts with the production team and maintain accurate operational records, including log sheets and the operational logbook.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of chemicals used in the plant to ensure regulatory compliance and safe handling.
  • Oversee production activities to ensure compliance with manufacturing technologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to conduct chemical analyses and assist in planning experiments for process validation and improvement.
  • Conduct tests, analyses, and evaluations on material samples to generate reports that support technical decision-making.


Required Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering

  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Good Communication skill in English.


Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering, Petroleum and Mineral Resource Engineering

Experience

  • At most 1 year
