Position Summary
We are looking for a potential Assistant Administrative Officer – Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for Daffodil International University.
Job Responsibilities
Event Management Support
- Assist in organizing major university events, including Orientation Programs, Founding Anniversary, Parents’ Day, and other central events.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for national and university-level events coordinated by OSA.
Student Communication & Coordination:
- Maintain regular, need-based communication with students through face-to-face and telephone interactions.
- Ensure timely information flow and provide necessary assistance regarding OSA programs and initiatives.
Club Coordination, Leadership Development:
- Coordinate activities of student clubs under the DIU Club Leadership Development Program.
- Support club leaders in planning, documentation, and implementation of club activities.
Entrepreneurship & Innovation Activities
- Assist in organizing the Daffodil Startup Market and other entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives.
Sports & Co-curricular Programs:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate sports events and tournaments.
- Support co-curricular activities that promote student engagement, leadership, and well-being.
Workshops & Training Programs:
- Coordinate and facilitate student development-focused workshops, seminars, and training programs.
Logistical & Operational Support:
- Support the distribution of materials and resources and ensure smooth execution of OSA activities.
Volunteer Management:
- Recruit, train, coordinate, and supervise volunteers for university programs and events.
Proactive Value Addition:
- Contribute innovative ideas, initiatives, and process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of OSA programs and operations.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good documentation, reporting, and follow-up ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and stakeholder-management capability.
- Professional attitude, integrity, and accountability.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred; however, freshers are also encouraged to apply.
