Position Summary
The Assistant Administrative Officer will support the Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University in managing career services, corporate relations, employer engagement, event coordination, executive support, and office administration. The position plays a key role in strengthening industry-academia collaboration, facilitating student placement opportunities, and ensuring the successful implementation of career development initiatives and operational activities of the CDC.
Job Responsibilities
Career Services & Placement
- Manage student placement activities and employer engagement.
- Coordinate internship and job opportunities for students and graduates.
- Publish job circulars and maintain job opportunity databases.
- Screen, sort, and organize CVs based on employer requirements.
Corporate Relations & Collaboration
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate organizations and industry partners.
- Initiate and coordinate local and international corporate collaborations.
- Facilitate MoUs, partnership opportunities, and industry engagement programs.
- Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.
Event & Project Management
- Plan and organize career fairs, workshops, seminars, networking sessions, and other CDC events.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for smooth event implementation.
Executive Assistance
- Provide administrative and executive support to CDC leadership.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and official correspondence.
- Maintain documentation, records, and operational workflows.
Office Operations
- Support daily office activities and ensure smooth operational management.
- Assist in communication, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Perform additional duties assigned by CDC management.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant subject
Additional Qualifications
Academic Background
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management, Human Resource Management (HRM), or Marketing or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
Professional Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in administration, corporate relations, career services, project coordination, or related fields.
- Exceptional fresh graduates with strong leadership or technology-based portfolios may also be considered.
Leadership Experience (Preferred)
- Candidates with prior leadership roles in clubs, student councils, or youth organizations will receive preference.
Technical & AI Literacy
- Strong proficiency in modern productivity tools and digital collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools and workflow automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and related automation tools is highly desirable.
Business & Growth Mindset
- Understanding of financial productivity and partnership development frameworks.
- Ability to support institutional branding and corporate engagement strategies.
- Strong ability to identify opportunities for organizational growth.
