Job Responsibilities
This position focuses on analysis of text-based non-numeric data
Process customer inquiries performing CDD (Customer due diligence) and conducting risk background screening (i.e., OFAC, Sanctions, politically exposed persons and adverse information checks)
Review, investigate, research and monitor risk relevance through the provided application. Also perform proper analysis and research to determine, validate information and conduct complex and advanced level of analysis.
Understand the basics of risk in regulatory compliance and the key terms in risk relevant activities (ex- Money Laundering, Terrorist financing, Financial crimes, Assault, Murder etc.).
Conduct research using open source information, and multiple internal systems to complete the risk reviews
Aggregate, process, and evaluate risk-related data and analyze the gathered information leveraging knowledge of Google search results

Keen attention to detail and effective logical reasoning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to summarize findings, create reports effectively
Be enthusiastic to conduct research and review of English articles and determine and segregate the criminal and negative news
Good judgement, sense of urgency and accountability; time- management skills
Knowledge of criminal typologies associated with financial products and services will be an added advantage
