  • Association for Socio-Economic Advancement of Bangladesh (ASEAB) is inviting application for the flowing position for implementing Making Market Work for Women (MMWW) Project.Gubtoli Upazilla under Bogura district with the assistance of the Action Aid Bangladesh.
  • Project Name: Making Market Work for Women (MMWW)

  • Job Summary:
  • The objective of the position is to Training & Capacity Building "Marking Market Work for women" project different stakeholder. The general functions of the Trainer is to Organize and facilitate different training program in field level for awareness building on different diversified perspective. A trainer should have skills on Develop training manual, Materials design; training design as well as he/she will prepare training budget, content, Schedule. Agenda and prepare training report as per project need. In accordance the project modality he/she will facilitate training for adolescent boys and girls club members (with classrooms sessions through trained teachers) UP Standing Committee`s function and composition, Orient project staff on SRH and nutrition (training manual) and the UP Standing Committee`s function and composition. Develop technical skill and capacity of entrepreneur groups by organizes different training/Facilitate cascaded training on `Gender Responsive Framework for Access to Market and Value Chain` Right, reproductive health & Nutrition Issus, to group leaders in different training modality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Key responsibilities include (not limited to)
  • Programme development and management:
  • Train/or orient school teachers on SRR and adequate nutrition using resource pack and its relationship with productivity.
  • Provide SRHR and adequate nutrition orientation to adolescent boys and girls club members (with classrooms sessions through trained teachers).
  • Develop training manual on SRR and nutrition and UP Standing Committee's function and composition.
  • Orient project staff on SRH and nutrition (training manual) and the UP Standing Committee's function and composition.
  • Develop technical skill and capacity of entrepreneur groups by organizes different training.
  • Facilitate cascaded training on 'Gender Responsive Framework for Access to Market and Value Chain' to group leaders in different modality.
  • Meet with 100 members of Market Committee and Banik Samity in targeted markets to orient them about project activities
  • Facilitate participation of Market Committee, Banik Samity, entrepreneurs in UP Standing Committees meeting to advocate for market space and/or female toilets and/or crèches for women entrepreneurs and their children
  • Facilitate training for adolescent boys and girls club members (with classrooms sessions through trained teachers) UP Standing Committee's function and composition,
  • Orient project staff on SRH and nutrition (training manual) and the UP Standing Committee's function and composition.
  • Develop technical skill and capacity of entrepreneur groups by organizes different training/Facilitate cascaded training on 'Gender Responsive Framework for Access to Market and Value Chain' Right, reproductive health & Nutrition Issus, to group leaders in different training modality
  • Prepare Different Training report, plan & Agenda as per need of the project.
  • Skills on Participatory training approach
  • Knowledge on Participatory learning approach
  • Sound knowledge on different Training methods and Tools
  • Ability to Conduct Training Need assessment & Different Survey.

  • S/he will report to Project Coordinator.

Education Requirements:

  • Masters/ Bachelor in Social Science from any reputed University.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in relevant field.
  • Technical: Experienced in training documentation and communication• Have proven knowledge in market, SRHR and nutrition.
  • General : Dynamic, hardworking and have good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team;
  • Experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials;
