Job Description


Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate with factory management regarding buyers' Code of Conduct (COC), Code of Ethics (COE), local legal standards, and internationally recognized standards and Minimum Requirements of business partners.
- Prepare and modify internal auditing checklist and related tools and conduct internal audits and manage CAP (Corrective Action Plan) as per monitoring policy.
- Make necessary official correspondence with audit firms, auditors and buyer's representative in case of external first and third party audits, their arrangement and CAP management.
- Arrange application for new venturing process and auditing by maintaining company's necessary and up-to-date information.
- Work to identify and eradicate the non-compliance issues based on continuous routine audit, its follow up and monitoring of issues.
- Prepare and modify internal auditing checklist and related tools and conduct internal audits and manage CAP (Corrective Action Plan) as per monitoring policy.
- Develop & maintain information trackers on licenses, certification, structures & layout approval, safety and kits, devices/equipment and other arrangement, keep them up-to-date and provide report to HOD/Management on defaults.
- Maintain departmental files - copies of polices, office orders, training files, licenses, certificates, test reports, audit application file, CAP files, and notices.
- Assist company in conducting different safety and awareness training of the companies.
- Participate in and follow up the workers recruitment for its documentation and procedures to be done as per company policy and local law.
- Participate in implementing required policies and procedures to satisfy the company and statutory requirements.
- Face social audits of the company and accompany auditors/visitors.
- Understand ACCORD, HIGG (FSLM), Better Work and SLCP guidelines and requirements and work to implement their standards to improve the capabilities of the company's sustainability aspects.
- Coordinate with team leaders of different section of compliances (Health and safety, Welfare, Social and CSR, Fire and Safety, Training & Development and projects to handle the issues of those sections.)
- Participate in the internal social and environmental audits.
- Be responsive as one of the company representatives to face various parties' audits i.e. ACCORD, BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, CTPAT, WRAP, COC/COE and technical audit of different buyers and FSLM, SLCP verification programs.
- Arrange reports on CAP remediation asked by ACCORD, DIFE and different business partners.
- Make strong liaison and necessary communications with govt. agencies, buyers and third party auditors.
- Keep abreast of all local and international laws and their modifications to ensure ever-changing requirements of compliances.
- Participate and Coordinate in making corrective action plans of all internal-external visit findings and audits and ensure the remediation progress within timeline.
- Respond to any other job assigned by the management time to time.

Educational Requirements:
Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline of reputed university(s) (Candidates having MBA in HRM/PGDHRM, LLB/LLM can be given preference.)

Additional Requirements:
- Key Skills: Communication, Reporting on CAP & RCA, Training, Oral & written correspondence, Monitoring & Follow up, Team Leadership, Analytical ability, Writing Proficiency in both Bangla and English
- Work Experience: At least 03 years in compliance department of relevant job sector (Textile & garments)
- Computer skill: MS Office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & Power point)

- To apply effective process of identifying and eradicating the non-compliance issues based on audit, follow up and monitoring in order to reduce gaps in social and environmental sustainability and get aligned with the demand and expectation of business partners.
- To ensure the overall safety standards of the workplace.
- To maintain workers friendly environment with good working conditions and develop relationships between the owners Vs the workers.
