Job Summary

The "Senior Executive, PR, Communication & Branding" position requires specialized skills in PR, Communication and Brand Building. The incumbent should have been involved in devising, reviewing and defining the overall brand communication strategies of various segments of Gemcon Group as well as SBU`s product launches.

Job Description


Job Responsibilities:
- PR, Communication and Networking:
- Ensure Gemcon Group's all products, communications, promotions and initiatives align with the brand directive with the guidance and direction of the supervisor.
- Prepare and implement an appropriate marketing plan ATL, BTL & Digital Platform for newly assigned and existing products.
- Plan, develop and implement PR & Communication strategy formulation and execution in Gemcon Group.
- Create design and direction for collateral, web, product packaging & other visual communications.
- Prepare innovative design to plan and execute PR & Communication activities for campaigns, events, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility programs.
- Coordinating Bangla and English content (press releases, articles, leaflets, reports, social media contents and promotional videos)
- Maintaining liaison with different Television Channels, Newspapers, PR Agencies, Magazines, Radio Channels, Associations, International Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Universities, etc.
- Prepare the production of publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos, photographs, films, and multimedia programs.
- Clear understanding of market trends, competitive activity, category segmentation.
- Prepare all communication plan based on yearly activity calendar.
- Brand Management:
- Arrange brand activation programs, monitor other leading organization's branding strategies and branding activities; establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional material, and events.
- Connect communication plans with the brands elements and prepare individual campaign strategy based on launch campaign, promotion campaign and so on.
- Develop branding tools (leaflet, brochure, presentations) development & writing article for press media & social media.
- Perform key strategic branding programs/projects as of communication tools including collateral, website, e-mail/nurture campaigns, commercialization and other branding related initiatives to achieve branding plan objectives.
- Develop social media strategy aligned with the brand identity, audience and objectives.
- Prepare yearly activity calendar for various brands and ensure their timely executions.

Employment Status:

Educational Requirements:
BBA in Marketing with MBA degree is preferable from a reputed institution e.g Dhaka University, NSU, BRAC, East West University, DIU.

- Experience: At least 3-5 years relevant experience in PR & Communication in a reputed organization.

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
